Privacy

Privacy is not a feature of Private Convert — it is the product. Unlike traditional online file converters, we never upload your files to any server.

What never happens

• No conversion requests are sent to a backend.
• No user documents are stored.
• No file contents are transmitted.
• No hidden uploads.
• No server-side processing of your files.

What does happen

Cloudflare serves the static website assets (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and conversion engines). When you select a file, it is read into your browser’s memory. Conversion uses your device’s CPU and memory. You download the result from a local object URL.

Network transparency

During a conversion, your browser’s network panel should show only static asset requests (scripts, styles, WASM/engine binaries) — never your document contents leaving the device.

Accounts & analytics

No account is required to convert files. If analytics are enabled in the future, they will be privacy-first page-view metrics only. We will never collect file names, file contents, or conversion payloads.
